While applying for my passport online thru APPLES, Daddy decided to use one of the many photos taken at home instead of taking a new one at the photo studios at ICA.
After going through the requirements, this is the most suitable but we had to erase the background using Photoshop. Fortunately, it was accepted and now I have my own Biometric Passport!
(Note: The passport numbers for the new Biometric passports are no longer the same as our NRIC numbers. Also, all photographs will be printed in black and white!)

hi there! is ur baby’s passport picture in bnw?? my fren’s turn out in color in nov and another fren got theirs in bnw in dec! are there some discrepancies here??
I am about to apply a passport for my newborn who needs to travel to Malaysia early June.
ICA website was not helpful.
How long did it take for the passport to be rdy?

I got it within a week. The website says minimum 3 working days but didn’t specify exact waiting period. So I would assume 1 week is the average.
